NeuroCARE® runs under Vista Business or Home Premium and Windows XP-Pro and Home. Mac users will need to install one of these operating systems on a dual-boot Mac under Bootcamp. We do not yet support Vista installed on a Mac - check with customer care on this issue. We do not support computers that are set up to dual-boot both XP and Vista operating systems on the same computer: your computer must be configured for either Vista OR XP on a single computer per license.

Specifications for running NeuroCARE®1.98 Pro under Vista, XP-Pro or Home:
1. 3.06 GHz P4 processor or equivalent AMD (newer 2007 Centrino systems, duo-core and AMD Turion are all supported systems)
The following do NOT meet our needs and we do not support them: Intel Celeron, Pentium III and AMD Sempron.
2. 1 GB DDR RAM, preferably 2GB. Note: Vista systems requires twice the memory, so 2GB DDR RAM essential.
3. ATI Radeon 9xxx series video or equivalent
4. CD-RW/DVD-RW
5. 80 GB HD, preferably 100 GB
6. 14.1" or better TFT screen (diagonal measurement) although ultraportables (with 12” TFTs) can be used if ALL other specs are met. For client monitor suggest min. of 17".
7. Windows Vista is now our default operating system. The minimum Vista requirements are: Vista Business or Home Premium for ZIN Pro versions. Vista Home Basic is not supported. XP-Pro is preferred over XP-Home, but Home is OK. Windows Media Player is also a required feature of Windows. In most cases WMP is included with the Windows Operating System.
8. True AC-97 compliance essential. While compliance has been a major headache with older XP systems, VISTA SP1 systems offer true AC-97 compliant which is a BIG help.
9. Please install and use Norton 360. Do NOT use Norton Speed Disk, Norton GoBack, Norton Ghost or Norton Internet Security packages. There were problems caused on older systems by the 2005 standalone version of Norton Anti-Virus. Remove it before installing NeuroCARE®.

If you are not using a TT-USB device, you will also need to purchase a Keyspan 19HS USB to serial adaptor to connect the amplifier to the laptop. Do not use other brands or model numbers.
